Avoid the flu epidemic naturally

In recent news there has been a widespread epidemic of the flu. Extreme cases have resulted in multiple deaths. Nobody wants the flu. Especially if you have a chronic condition. Such as endometriosis. The pain can be unbearable. I wanted to inform people of ways that they can avoid the flu, naturally.

  • Sanitize all surfaces you use all the time. Cell phone, computer, door knobs, all bathroom surfaces
  • Wash hands frequently, especially before touching your face, or using the restroom
  • Use a neti pot
  • Reduce stress
  • Get adequate sleep. 7-8 hours is optimal
  • Start with the gut. Majority of you immune system in the digestive track. You can begin by eating more fresh fruits and vegetables. Which will naturally build immunity. You can also add probiotics to your regimen.
  • Avoid sugars. Sweets can increase mucous in the body. Essentially clogging you up
  • Garlic and onions-these two sulfur filled vegetables are nature's antibiotics
  • Vitamin C
  • Vitamin D
  • Colloidal silver
  • Shiitake, reishi and lions mane mushrooms all help with immunity, and help fight cancer
  • Elderberry
  • Echinacea
  • Oregano oil
  • Zinc
  • Mullein capsules, but the tea is best.  This herb rids to body of mucous
  • Ginger
  • Cinnamon
  • Fluids, teas with honey, fresh squeezed juices, distilled water, spring water, or alkaline water.  Normal water can be turned alkaline with fresh lemon or lime

NEW TREATMENT FOR ENDOMETRIOSIS DISCOVERED

Scientists in Illinois discovered a new treatment for endometriosis.  Oxabicycloheptene sulfonate and chloroindazole were used to treat mice with endometriosis.  The mice underwent experiments that resulted in them having endometriosis. Other tests were done on endometriotic cells. Results showed that both compounds reduced endometriotic tissue, while preventing it to growth outside of the uterus. Each compound also reduced inflammation, and development of cells that promoted endometrial growth. The study has scientists and doctors optimistic.  Yet they say more tests need to be done on mice and eventually on women.

Instagram Grocery Haul

Here is a recent instagram post.  Of what I am going to eat this week.  I bought almost the same items last week and I ate them all. Pictured are peanuts, cashews, oranges, grapefruit, lemon, lime, red & green apples, mangoes, avocados, ginger, red onion, garlic, celery, leeks, potatoes, cucumber, lettuce carrots, and beets. Not pictured is watermelon, mushrooms, and green onion.  Some of these items will be juiced and some cooked and eaten.  This haul was also well under $35.  I promise you can eat fresh, healthy food on a budget.

Painful periods and intercourse? Try this

It is typical for a woman who suffers from endometriosis to have pain during or after intercourse.  That doesn't come from a lack of lubrication. This pain is caused once the penis enters the vagina, and presses against endometrial implants and scar tissue on the uterus, or even from ovarian cysts.

There is something women can try, that has helped me tremendously! It's cannabis lube. I've been using it for about for years now. It's basically coconut oil with cannabis in it. With cleans hands, apply it on the penis and into the vagina. Hemp eases muscles. Thus helping to alleviate some of the pain that is felt. If not all of it for the time being.  Combined with my man, who is sensual and overall a great lover. It made me more wet, and helped me achieve better orgasms. It will not get you high, nor will it have your vagina smelling like weed.

Hemp oil decreases inflammation, eases muscle spams and cramps, and alleviates discomfort.  Not only can the oil be used for sex, but it can be applied to a tampon, or simply applied to the pelvis for period pain relief. So give this a try if weed is legal in your state. If it is, and the product isn't available. Then make your own. I swear by this oil and I highly recommend it!

Happy New Year to all of my endometriosis sisters!  May we be healthy, kind, and achieve our goals in 2018.  According to the Chinese calendar, this is the year of the dog.  A year for changes, stability, and organization.  Thank you to all of you who have continues to follow this blog.  It means a lot to me to share my experiences, the things I've learned, and my concerns regarding endometriosis.

Understanding and Processing Your Diagnosis

Ladies, after being diagnosed, I began to feel this overwhelming sadness.  It would happen periodically, then all of the time.  A depressing feeling. Over time, I was reminded by family and my partner that I am not alone.
That is what I want you all to know.  That you aren't alone in your fight with endometriosis.  A doctor's diagnosis isn't always the "end all be all".  Do not allow it to make you feel sad for long.  Although it is normal, once diagnosed.  Just try to relax, and remember that life doesn't have to go as planned.
Your going to feel, empty and lonely from the fear of not being able to carry a child (if you haven't given birth already, not all women with endometriosis are infertile).  Use the love that you'd have for you own child and begin to share it with those you love.  My advice would be to give another child in your life the affection you would have for you own child. Yes, I know it isn't the same.  Giving love can help you heal. It will replace your sadness with overwhelming joy. Remember to take care of your body, by following the endometriosis diet, which has been scientifically proven to help with mental health.  Know that you are blessed to be a living testimony for other women battling endometriosis.
